WI campaigns for 2026

At this year’s annual meeting, two resolutions were put to a vote, and both passed. They are:
- Action on Women’s Homelessness
- Accessible public toilet facilities to promote dignity, health, and social inclusion
The Public Affairs department has produced a campaign guide for working with councils and local businesses to make more toilets available to the public. It’s on myWi, here.
They are also preparing one for women’s homelessness, called No Woman Without a Home, which will be published on myWI as soon as it’s ready. They’ve already developed three campaign asks, two of which are related to domestic violence.
