For our February meeting we were joined by Niloufar Lamakan, a former member of N1WI, who has just published a romantic comedy, Aged to Perfection, and she was interviewed by Lesley.

Niloufar was a very entertaining speaker, talking about the book itself (with a reading) and about writing it (with some fun anecdotes along the way), the processes involved in getting it published and the long haul to find a publisher. For those who missed the meeting, she’s speaking at Islington Central Library, 2 Fieldway Crescent, London N5 1PF,  on 13 Mar 2025, 18:30 – 19:30.

We also tasted a selection of vegan chocolates, which everyone enjoyed, and sampled some non-alcoholic wine and Prosecco – they were not received as enthusiastically.
