For our February meeting, Jordan the owner of our local zero waste shop, Kilo on Holloway Road (https://wearekilo.com/), came to talk to us all about her new shop, including her experiences with starting a business in a global pandemic and what it’s like being a female business owner. She also talked about the ethos behind the shop with information and tips around helping to reduce plastic waste and how to live sustainably. The talk ended with a virtual tour of the shop, which included a look at some of the products we might not be familiar with, many of which are sourced from other local businesses, followed by some time to ask any questions we had.
