We need you! Our current committee stands down at the annual meeting in April and the new committee is elected and we could really use some more people.

The committee meets on the first Tuesday of the month in a pub where we plan the main meetings, fundraising, events, and anything else that’s going on. It’s a great way to get more involved with your WI and to help keep it going, and a brilliant way to get to know people better. It can also look great on your CV!

You can be a completely new member and still join the committee – it’s incredibly useful to get fresh ideas and new perspectives on how we do things! You can take on a particular role, like looking after our social media, organising events, getting us more involved with the local community and charities, and helping us to implement the yearly WI resolutions. You can also just be a standard committee member and take on smaller tasks discussed at each committee meeting. It’s completely up to you.
