We heard a fascinating talk by Adam Brand who is a professional graphologist. He uses handwriting analysis in a variety of scenarios such as checking compatibility of potential partners, assessing candidates for jobs, describing ancestors for genealogists, and deciding who has written forgeries, poison pen letters and graffiti.  Adam is past Chairman of the Association of Qualified Graphologists and present Chairman of the British Institute of Graphologists.   He regularly appears on TV and radio shows as the expert in this field.
