Having waddled to the keyboard after eating far too much cake, I have to say our June meeting was very tasty.

Lesley, who is renowned for her lemon drizzle cake, demonstrated how she makes it, having brought some she prepared earlier for us to enjoy while we watched. Once that was baking, she turned to lemon and blueberry teacakes, also much appreciated by all. We learned some useful baking tips that I know are going to help me improve, and enjoyed a very sociable evening over our cake once the demonstrations were finished.
