Leave your rational mind behind and come and get the creative juices flowing in a night of surrealist fun! You will be led through a series of exciting and interactive activities, no previous art experience necessary. Wendy Paton (recently interviewed for WI Life magazine) will talk us through the women’s role in the surrealist movement, the history of surrealism and guide us through some practical art exercises.
For the art exercise some basic equipment is required:
– 10 Plain A4 sheets of paper
– Drawing tools such as pencil/crayons/pastels/charcoal etc. Whatever you have nearby will be ok
– Glue or sticky tape
– An old magazine (one you don’t mind cutting up)
When: 25th May
