“Blessed are the Cheesemakers!” to quote the mighty Monty Python.

We welcomed Philip Wilton from The Urban Cheesemaker AKA Wildes Cheese for a talk and sampling. There were delicacies available for purchase on the night.

Philip turned to cheese-making after feeling increasingly unfulfilled with his job in the business world. “I decided one day I wanted to create something, I wanted to say ‘I made this, I’m proud of this’.” He has spoken at many local WI’s in North London and we were very pleased to welcome him to N1.
