We have a big treat in September – an evening with Dame Anne Evans, who lives locally but is famed internationally as an operatic soprano. Retired now, the role for which she’s most well known is that of Brünnhilde, a Wagnerian Valkyrie. We’ll be hearing about her life and travels, and listening to a little of her music.
