A number of members told us they would like to do more baking and cooking. Our meeting this month is going to be a mixture of social chat; pastry demonstration and the chance to improve your knitting or crocheting. Lesley will demonstrate how she makes shortcrust and sweet pastry. She will bring samples for you to enjoy with your glass of wine. Joan, our resident expert on knitting and crocheting will answer any queries you may have. If anybody has any particular baking they wish to try – bring along the recipe and we can always try them at future meetings. If anyone has any great recipes they wish to share bring them along.
