Come and join us for our Christmas party, in the amazing venue The Ship of Adventures.

The Ship of Adventures is a bookshop, gift-shop, café and events space run by The Hackney Pirates. All profits from The Ship of Adventures go to supporting their educational workshops with young people in Hackney.

£5 on the door for members and non-members alike.

There will be a raffle, with prizes including the Thrifty Stitcher’s book from the Sewing Bee, fizz, stained glass, and lots more!

There will also be a fancy dress competition with prizes – the theme is Festive Pirates! If you don’t fancy dressing up, then come in your best Christmas jumper or party attire!

If you want to drink alcohol that isn’t fizz then feel free to bring some with you.

Come along, bring a friend (those who identify as female only please!) and celebrate the festive season and our last meeting of 2016. It’s a great sociable evening to come along and see what we’re like if you haven’t made it to a meeting before – visitors are more than welcome.

You may have heard in the news that a car unfortunately drove into the front of the venue for the party, but don’t worry, no one was hurt and the damage is superficial, and they are still fine to host us!

It does mean though that the front entrance is closed so please make your way to the back and use the buzzers!
