April was our annual meeting, when we review the past year and look forward to the next, as well as electing the committee for the year ahead. Yvette from MFWI joined us to oversee the formal elements.

The President and Treasurer presented their reports and the accounts and then as is usual the committee stood down. Two people offered to stand again and were duly elected, so once again Clare is President and Joan is Treasurer. This means we don’t have a Secretary at the moment so the role will be shared by Clare and Joan for the time being, but hopefully someone will come forward to share the load.

Once the official business was concluded we had a sociable evening, thanks to everyone for bringing nibbles.

Looking back to one of our earlier evenings Ingrid bought in some of the small figures which were formed in wax and have now been cast in bronze and they were very impressive.
